Tony has Masters degrees in Education, Kinesiology (study of human movement), and a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology. He earned the 1993 Dissertation of the Year honors from the American Psychological Association for his work on concentration and performance in golf.
He has served as Head Professional at teaching facilities in Wisconsin and North Carolina, High School Golf Coach and has consulted with elite amateur (most recently the 2010 British Amateur Champion, Jin Jeong), and professional golfers, including former Senior PGA touring professional, David Lundstrum.
Tony was also part owner of 1-Putt Golf Schools and Down the LineTM Concepts, Inc, A golf club manufacturing company.
Tony has written two books, Kingdom of the Tiger: A Golfer’s Guide to Playing in The Zone, and Master the Art and Science of Putting. He is presently working on a new book entitled, Training the Eyes, Mind, and Golf for Golf. Tony’s approach is to provide golfers with the information and strategies necessary to develop the physical, visual, and attentional (mental and emotional) skills associated with peak performance so they can access The Zone almost at will.
